Blessings,
Isaiah 58 family what an honor it is to be able to report to you the marvelous works of God that we were blessed to witness in the jungle villages surrounding Pucallpa, Peru.
In the village of Garcia, God still supplies a refuge center/ church that is 85- 90% women and children.
God directed Isaiah 58 to these women approximately three years ago. The women were
selling their bodies to feed their children & themselves it was a vicious cycle. God has since, made a way, supplying this community with a church/ refuge center, a pastor, a new well, & a feeding center. He has shown them His love & they have responded.
They continue to grow in discipleship and training. The pastor also helps the children with schoolwork and art. Garcia lies on the border of an uninhabited jungle & river. A place that appears to be the end was only the beginning for the people there.
While we were in Garcia, The Lord allowed us to disciple the woman and teach the Children. The children also put on a drama for us about the Good Samaritan it was a blessing as we had taught them this lesson 2 years ago. They used the same concept that they had been taught, it was a great encouragement.

Sunday we visited the church in Los Angeles, upon arrival we learned that the community had been stricken with dengue fever. Some came to church in spite of sickness and we were allowed to preach the gospel, we also came together in a time of prayer for the community to be healed. The service was powerful, the presence of the Lord filled the church.
We then journeyed deep into the jungle, to a village in need of evangelism, in need of a
Church, and most importantly in need of Jesus, this village is home to many indigenous Shipibos peoples.
It took us an hour and a half to get reach our destination but well worth it. We were able to share the gospel, with adults and children, resulting in 23 receiving Christ as Lord and Savior. We pray to work in the village with the new converts as well as evangelize the remaining community. God has blessed us to know a man full of integrity and willing to oversee evangelism in this community. That night Aimee ministered at Light of the world COG and many, came forth but we were so engulfed in His presence that no one counted.

Monday - we were able to visit Manantay, What an exciting time. We sang, did a skit, ministered, and fed the community, it was an amazing service. 31 adults and 27 children for a total of 58 people came to Jesus during that service.
Manantay is a community of people who make less than a dollar a day. They are very impoverished but are even more hungry for God.
It is the first church/ feeding center Isaiah 58 planted in Pucallpa.
That afternoon we visited Santa Marta, another Shipibo village out in the jungle. We had no idea how big this community surrounded by sewage water actually was, with at least 150 in children’s ministry not including adults. The Lord met us there and even in the chaos of all those people -God was in total control! The skit held the attention of all the people, it explained how sin separates us from God, and how we easily get entangled in it but shows how by receiving Christ we are set free, learning this 161 people received Christ as Lord and Savior!! Glory be to God!

Tuesday we visited year another Jungle village names “The Miracle”.
this village has suffered great flooding in the past few weeks, resulting in no work. God has given us great responsibility in this village as we are planting a church with only a roof and wooden sits we began to sing praises. The people began to come into the church. The Spirit of the Lord was so real out there in the middle of the jungle with no electricity, no lights, no floor, God's spirit was so strong.
We held church services, for the adults first, and as call the for salvation came - so did the people. As they sang 13 people came forward to receive Christ, then 3 more, then 2 more then another, and another up to 26 adults coming forward as the Spirit pulled them to repentance.
After the service children’s ministry took place the same spirit was there and 16 received Christ as Savior a total of 42 were saved. They were pulled into repentance by only the Spirit of God.
We were blessed to be able to give food to 50 families __________________________________________________________________________________
That afternoon was a change as we entered Hoyada (The Hole) the red lights district. Drugs, prostitution, thieves, and mafia, would be compared to what we call the ghetto. We went to visit Isaiah 58’s feeding center there which feeds 60-65 street kids a day. Not only feeding them physical nourishment but nourishment for their souls as well. After the lesson, they were asked if they knew Jesus, at that moment they all became excited exclaiming YES!
He feeds us! He takes care of us!!
May God use these precious children to change their community! We were informed by the Pastor who works with us there that they weren’t allowed to go to school because they didn’t have the proper supplies. God moved on hearts and supplied the amount needed that day. The children were so excited for the opportunity to be allowed to learn at school. Hoyada holds years is work and prayer as it is under such a stronghold. We ask all to pray for them as well as all the other communities. Wednesday we visited Km 22 (The dump) Where another indigenous tribe of people named the Yaminahua. It is an ongoing work. The people there are very secluded and separated from society. They rummage through the trash for food. clothing, plastic to build shelter, or whatever else they can find…
The men in this tribe are employed by the dump to separate plastics and recyclables after the trucks leave it. They are paid approximately $0.65 a day.
This is not living this is surviving.
This tribe is very primitive yet God has softened their hearts towards the missionaries of Isaiah 58. They are now being discipled each Sunday, In adult and children’s services. No longer needing to eat from the trash, because God is now their provider, providing the entire community with basic food needs monthly. While we were there we had the honor of seeing the new well be opened as God has now also supplied clean drinking water for them. Isaiah 58 has been so blessed to be a small conduit for the mercies of God for them. While we were there we spoke to all the adults and children, who were so excited to learn about Jesus.
We gave clothes, shoes, socks, and of course as with all the other villages we gave the children treats and toys!
